but i'm stuck here in the rain,
stuck in this pain,
of my demons so strong,
it happens that I,
have been waiting so long,
standing in the rain,

where i belong,
waiting on a pick up,
so i can fix up,
what's wrong,
trying to keep my chin up,
so i can sing up,
my song,

feel the delight,
as i see a light,
reach the new heights,
and the lows,
of the fight,
reach it in spite,
of this warm frost bite,
because it's so warm,
i perceive that it's right.
i'm close to miss-taken,
reaching for the light.

I'm like an awkward refrain,
of a broken song,
how can i sustain,

The Quietyou are the tears,
in so many eyes,
you are the voice,
in so many cries,
the red in the faces,
of your sons and daughters,
as they weep,
they spent their last minutes
in your quarters,

the darkest of killers,
utterly invisible,

coursing through my veins,
teenage chemicals,
hit our underdeveloped brains,

we see that it rains,

trials and tribulations,
of ages 13 to 19,
hell unleashed,
let the devil join my team,
from picked on,
to right on,
this fights on for the high ground,
teachers say not here,
no not here in my town,

the law was written,
for teenagers to understand it,
we manned it,
we can handle it,
this scandal it's,
the mantle for our downfall,
adults have a pub brawl,
the destiny for our duty call,

hit me then kiss me,
this is our generation,

Loyal Loveyou can hit me,
throw all i gave you away,
you can hurt me,
but i'm not leaving today,

you can burn all we had,
tell everyone to stay back,
you can forget us,
but i'm staying on track,

you can turn away,

but every day,

when life just breaks it?,
what is hope,
when it's all gone?,
what is promise?,

In a Breakdown

I break down,
into a pool of tears,
please come, take my hand,
help me face these fears,
I'm a dark, dark shadow,
broken in half,
walking through the meadows,
feel the freezing draft,
I look to the ground,
it looks back at me,
it seems that way,
it can definitely see,
as it looks through me,
a presence intrudes me,
pursues me,
alludes me,
all in all confuses me,
I twitch in the cold,
trying to shake it out,
I itch as I'm told,
I'm lost in a shout,
I fall down hard,
to the ice cold ground,
lost in the dark,
with no-one around,

In a breakdown,
with no help to stop me,
I'm so lost now,
the cost now is high,
In a breakdown,
with nothing to guide me,
how do I help me,
how do I pick myself up,
In a breakdown,
now it's hard to see,
the barriers of life,
and the barriers of death,
In a breakdown,
now it's hard to see,
exactly what I have left.

Uttering,
from the cold dark shadows,
a voice of metal arises,
with devices, of metal,
but so invisible,
it hurts to think it's there,
I'm hurt,
but I carry on,
fixed on the idea,
of not being wrong,
I try hard,
but I'm still there,
scared to hear my swan song,
